Outreach

Our environmental education programme goes well with an average of about 800 people visiting here every year on our specially adapted bus to see the work going on and learn about the black rhino and African wild dog.  The day is tightly structured and carefully choreographed and the feedback has been fantastic.

We have finished the construction of two science labs at Gonja Secondary School, and are getting to the end of the construction project for two classrooms at Ndungu Secondary School.

We are now working with two other foundations, the RC Diocese of Same and the District Commissioner’s office on a Vocational Training Centre in Gonja village. We are all really pleased that we can play a large part in this initiative to provide youngsters with practical training that will move them into the job market.
