Wild dog

We have three new sets of wild dog puppies in the breeding compounds at Kisima. Two packs of ‘wild’ wild dogs have been seen in Mkomazi, including one pack of fourteen wild dogs that often comes close to Kisima. We reintroduced another pack of ten wild dogs on the Tsavo / Mkomazi border in February 2013 and nine were pinned down through telemetry over the first month of release in Mkomazi before they headed into Tsavo West National Park. Two ‘wild’ wild male dogs continue to be seen at our camp.  They are totally self-sufficient but are based at Kisima Camp.
